Tomorrow at 16:00 UTC we'll be hosting the first Javascript Plasmoid tutorial session in #plasma-training on irc.freenode.net. In case you need more motivation to attend than simply being able to create rocking Plasmoids, let me offer you this:
Contestants submitting outstanding Plasmoids written in Javascript before March 31st stand to win an N900, a trip to Akademy or Camp KDE, KDE swag and bragging rights! All you need is a text editor, some imagination and KDE SC 4.4 to test your creations out on. A story on TheDot with further details is forthcoming.
So come join us tomorrow (or Saturday at the same time and in the same irc channel) to get on the fast track to Javascript Plasmoid mastery!
