back home, tokamak ripples on
I'm back home (as of last night) and slipping back into the comfortable routines of home that revolve around a comfortable shower, my own bed and my family members. Tokamak continues to ripple on and outwards, however: Mirko, our friend from OpenWrt who joined us, has posted a blog entry showing Qt apps running on the Qi NanoNote which is a truly tiny (physically) computer that has only 32MB of RAM. There's a video linked to in Mirko's post that shows even the coverflow Qt demo app running very smoothly. Very cool, and means we (or, rather, Mirko :) achieved the primary goal of having OpenWrt at Tokamak. Next up will be to find some time to rip into the configuration system OpenWrt has and write a Javascript Plasmoid for interacting with them that can be shipped on the device and accessed remotely.
