didn't go out shopping like i thought i might today. i realized that it's the sunday before christmas and therefore every place would be nuts. so i decided to do the bits of shopping i need to tomorrow and perhaps some on tuesday when it should be a little less crazy.
picked up zack from the airport with my friend andy, then hooked up with t. and we went for dinner at a japanese place that stays open to a reasonable hour (e.g. 23:00). back at the house now catching up on email and other such stuff.
meanwhile, stefan "kde on solaris" teleman posted a bunch of screenshots of kde on running on solaris. if you've ever wondered what that might look like, take a gander. surprise, surprise! it looks just like it does on linux, bsd or any of our other supported platforms. great work by the solaris kde team to get kde packages together for their favourite os!
