working on my interview skills

so someone pointed me to a transcript of a phone interview i did a week or so ago for linux mag. i wasn't aware they were going to put up a verbatim transcript of the interview. oh well. it sucks, but not much i can do about that now. would have been nice if they'd have spelled "Qt" correctly at least. i suppose i'll have to be sure to spell it out in future interviews.

so now i have something else to work on: my phone interview skills. *sigh*

There's not much you can do with phone interviews. Unless you've got the questions before-hand and can prepare even just a little bit it is always going to be off-the-cuff.

You did a great job with the LUG Radio interview. Perhaps its only a problem when they publish verbatim a phone interview. Sounds pretty unfair that you didn't know they were going to use the interview that way.

And you can hardly blame yourself for their inablity to spell Qt. Thats what editors are for.
